MCB boycotts Holocaust Memorial Day ... Again. There rason this year
The MCB's policy is not to take part in the UK's commemorations of the mass murder of Jews because it does not mention non-Jewish victims of genocide.which is odd, personally whenever Holocaust is mentioned I always think about the Jews, but not only them the Roma, Slavs, Homosexuals (and we all know the MCB's attitude to gays), the mentally handicapped, and communists that where also killed in the death camps. Of course all but one of these groups where released by the allies after the war ended.

Did anyone else notice how the BBC reported the story? they gave it a headline of "Muslim group avoids Holocaust Day", when it really ought to say: "Muslim Council of Britain boycotts Holocaust Day". I mean, the MCB are hardly some random muslim group, and avoiding something isn't the same as totally opposing something!
I don't just avoid Gordon Brown, I intellectually despise him! ;-)
